Day 6 (Tuesday)- Manchester to Windermere

108.19 miles, 9hrs 3 mins, average speed 11.94mph.

After charging my batteries and getting clothes washed at my nans in Stretford, Manchester, I set off for the Lake District.

Lancaster was weird, loads of people riding bikes which makes a change for most towns that ive been through so far.

Was a good ride until the end, the few campsites that I could find  were too expensive so I ended up sleeping in a field full of sheep on the start of the Kirkstone Pass.
