Day 5 Church Stretton to Manchester

101.29 miles, 8hrs38mins riding, 11.72 average speed. Met Tom Arnold at Shrewsbury, who is training to cycle from Sheffield to Barcelona (link), got lost trying to leave, but were soon on our way to Whitchurch. Headwinds where bad, I thought the wind blew south to north, not today though After taking a slight detour in Warrington, I was soon at my Nans in Stretford, a good stop for refueling and recharging batteries!

So close to being half way, which will be when I reach Windermere tomorrow!
